The constant seasonal April rain, could not stop people’s longing for nature.
On April 21, 2024, You Dao Center, in collaboration with the Shanghai Crane International Trading Company, held a spring family day event. On that day, even the long-absent sun showed a rare smile, and parents from 13 assisted families arrived at Shanghai Pujiang Country Park early with their children, with joyous anticipation on everyone’s faces.
The event started with the parent-child game session. Under the company of parents and volunteers from Crane China, the children enjoyed the fun of the games to the fullest, while also exercising their bodies and enhancing their team spirit. Parents also found joy in interacting with their children during the games, which strengthened their parent-child relationship.
Following that was the parent-child handicraft – Frisbee DIY activity. Parents and their children decorate Frisbees together. The children used their imagination to draw their favorite patterns on the Frisbee with colorful pens, while parents and volunteers guided them. Together they made a beautiful collection of Frisbees. After the parade of everyone’s creation, the children immediately started playing with the Frisbee, enjoying themselves immensely. You Dao also presented each child with a beautiful gift, and the atmosphere on site was warm and joyful.
In the afternoon, everybody visited the scenic spots in the Pujiang Country Park, strolling on the shaded paths, admiring the dreamy and colorful art flower carpet and the romantic and colorful flower world. The purpose of You Dao in holding this event is to allow parents to interact more with their children, understand their needs via having fun together. It is also a goal to inspire parents to take their children into the nature. You Dao also hopes that more enterprises will participate and join us on the path of serving society.
